How Can L&S Special Education Consulting and Services Help You?
L&S Special Education Consulting and Services primary goal is to consult with families of children with all different learning styles; informing them of their rights, reviewing and advising on all parts of the IEP, and creating an Individualized Education Plan specific to their child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. We will provide in home services to support and coach families on academic, social/emotional and functional skills. L&S will serve as an advocate for you and your child in the home and school setting; attend IEP meetings, conduct observations, and collaborate with schools.
L&S Special Education Consulting and Services has a unique perspective as former teachers and leaders in our schools. We will support general education and special education teachers in working with students with special needs by providing professional development on best practices, inclusion, classroom supports, etc. We will work individually with teachers to ensure they are providing each child with the accommodations, interventions, and supports they deserve.
Our Promise to the Schools:
We will work with schools to inform staff on the best, up to date practices by training teachers and leading out professional development.
We will assist in modifying curriculum and provide resources to promote each individual's unique strengths in the classroom.
We will work with staff to inform and promote best practices around inclusion and provide strategies and supports to make students feel most successful in the classroom.

We will walk you through the IEP process, inform you of your rights and advocate on your behalf.
We will assure your child is provided with the most effective accommodations, modifications, goals and supports within their school.
We will provide you and your child with in home behavior interventions, supports, and strategies.
We will provide educational therapy services to promote your child’s confidence and independence in all areas of their life.
We will use a whole student approach to learning by addressing behavioral, emotional, and social needs that impact academic achievement.
